The Hamilton Bulldogs wrap up their current seven game road trip with back-to-back games against the Cleveland Barons. The âDogs meet the Barons tonight, Friday, March 3 at 7:05 p.m. and again tomorrow night, Saturday, March 4 at 7:05 p.m.
Through five games of the road trip, Hamilton is 4-1. The Bulldogs are 8-2 in their last 10 games.
The âDogs have a record of 2-2-0-0 against the Barons this season. In the last meeting on December 22 in Cleveland, Francis Lemieux scored twice as Hamilton defeated the Barons 5-3.
Fans can listen to this weekend's games, and every Bulldogs game, on the flagship station of the Hamilton Bulldogs Hockey Network, Hamilton's 820 CHAM "The Legend". BULLDOGS REVIEW
The Bulldogs' five-game winning streak came to an end last night as they were defeated 3-2 by the Houston Aeros. Pierre Dagenais and Francis Lemieux scored for Hamilton, while Erik Westrum (2) and Roman Voloshenko had goals for Houston. Bulldogs goaltender Jaroslav Halak made 35 saves and suffered his first loss in his third career AHL start. Aeros netminder Josh Harding blocked 29 shots and earned his 26th victory of the season. Hamilton was 1 for 5 on the power play, while Houston went 1 for 6.
