
Bulldogs Win Shootout Against Leafs

Hamilton Bulldogs News Release
The Hamilton Bulldogs won a 7-5 shootout against the St. John's Maple Leafs on Wednesday night at Copps Coliseum.
Hamilton's record improves to 11 wins, 4 losses, 1 tie, and 1 overtime loss.
Scoring goals for the Bulldogs were Jason Ward (2), Marcel Hossa (2), Tony Salmelainen, Nate DiCasmirro, and Fernando Pisani. The goals scored by Salmelainen and DiCasmirro marked their first goals of the season, respectively.
Earning goals for St. John's were Alexei Ponikarovsky (2), Josh Holden, Brad Leeb and Anders Eriksson.
Mathieu Garon earned the win for the Bulldogs in net stopping 26 shots. Maple Leafs goaltender Mikael Tellqvist took the loss and made 29 saves.
The Bulldogs next action takes place on Friday, November 22nd at 7:00 p.m. as they host St. John's again at Copps Coliseum.
