Wolves Feed Fans for Funds

The Chicago Wolves host their fifth annual "Get Fed by the Wolves" lunch at Max & Erma's in Woodridge, 2020 W. 75th St., on Sun., Nov. 24, from 2 to 5 p.m. Wolves players will trade in their skates for aprons and serve as official waiters at the event, which benefits Special Olympics.

Naperville resident Calvin Stumpe, a 12-year-old athlete who plays on several Special Olympics teams, and his family will be at the event for the second straight year.

The lunch will be accompanied by a silent auction and raffle for Wolves prizes. The players will each wear event T-shirts, which will also be live auctioned at the event.

Special Olympics plays a key role in helping mentally challenged people gain confidence to achieve lifestyle goals and reach for new ones by providing the opportunity for athletes to achieve success.
