LOOKING AHEAD: The border war between Lowell and Manchester resumes at the Verizon Wireless Arena tonight (7:05 ET). The Monarchs have followed a 10-game unbeaten streak with two losses and a tie in their last three outings; the Lock Monsters, coming off a 4-2 win over Saint John on Sunday, are looking to post back-to-back victories for the first time this year. The teams split a home-and-home series to open the season, with each team winning in the other's rink.

St. John's visits Hamilton in a Canadian Division battle at Copps Coliseum tonight (7:00 ET, 8:30 NT). The clubs have met 64 times previously, with the Leafs holding a 31-22-11 edge. Jason Ward (7+14=21 pts.) and Benoit Gratton (9+11=20) lead the Bulldogs in scoring, and Mathieu Garon has allowed just five goals in his four starts this year. Former 'Dog Paul Healey, the leading scorer on the year for St. John's with 16 points, was an hour up the QEW last night, recording a goal in Toronto's 2-0 win over Boston.

Grand Rapids puts its 10-game unbeaten streak on the line against Cincinnati at Van Andel Arena tonight (7:00 ET). The Griffins' 8-0-2-0 run comes on the heels of a 1-3-1-0 start, and has the Griffs seven points clear of the Mighty Ducks on top of the Central Division. Reigning Sher-Wood AHL Player of the Week Marc Lamothe is 6-0-3 in his last nine decisions for Grand Rapids, and hasn't lost any of his last 15 starts during the month of November (13-0-2).
