Aeros Receive Winger Pavlikovsky from Minnesota

HOUSTON - Houston Aeros President and General Manager Dave Barr announced today that the Minnesota Wild (National Hockey League) assigned left wing Rastislav Pavlikovsky (pronounced RA-this-LAHV pahv-lih-KAWV-skee) to Houston.

Pavlikovsky, 25, has yet to appear in a game this season after being injured in training camp with the Wild. The sixth-year pro played for HV71 Jonkoping of the Swedish Elite League the past two seasons compiling 44 points on 20 goals and 24 assists in 69 games. The Dubnica, Slovakia-native earned a gold medal with Team Slovakia at the 2002 World Championships in Sweden scoring six points (2-4-6) in nine games. In addition he was also a member of the 2002 Slovakian Olympic Team.

Pavlikovsky will be in Houston for the Aeros game versus the Hartford Wolf Pack tomorrow at Compaq Center. Game time is 7:00 PM.
