Bulldogs sink Admirals

HAMILTON, ON - The Hamilton Bulldogs got back on the winning track with a 4-3 overtime victory over the Milwaukee Admirals Friday evening at Copps Coliseum. The win improves the Bulldogs record to 11-6-1-1 on the season and they picked up their fifth consecutive home victory along with their fourth overtime victory at home this year.

Mike Komisarek scored the overtime winner and added an assist in the victory. Benoit Gratton, notched his team leading 11th goal and added two helpers. Jozef Balej, added a goal and an assist and rounding out the scoring was Jimmie Olvestad, picking up his second, a shorthanded marker.

Leading the way for the Admirals was Curtis Murphy, who netted two, his second and third of the season. As well, Scottie Upshall picked up his fourth tally.

The Bulldogs fired 49 shots in the victory, a season high.

Jean-Francois Damphousse steered aside 24 Admiral shots, earning his 4th victory of the season, improving his record to 4-3-1. Admiral backstopper Brian Finley made 45 saves in the loss. His record falls to 4-4-2.

The Hamilton Bulldogs next action will take place tomorrow night, November 22nd as the Bulldogs will again play host to the Milwaukee Admirals at Copps Coliseum. Game time is 7:00pm.
