Third Jerseys: The Griffins will debut their new predominantly red third jerseys, modeled after those of the Red Wings.
Teddy Bear Toss: After the Griffins score their first goal, fans are asked to throw stuffed animals onto the ice for the fourth annual Teddy Bear Toss. (Fans behind the safety nets are encouraged to relay their stuffed animals to fans on the sides.) The stuffed animals will be collected and distributed to the police departments throughout West Michigan. In past years, nearly 1,000 stuffed animals have been delivered to kids.
First Intermission: The GRAHA Duthler Demons will scrimmage the Twinstar Outlaws in pee-wee hockey.
Hat Trick Friday: If a Griffins player scores a hat trick, all hat purchases made at The Zone on the day of the game (up until the hat trick is scored) will be refunded.
Family Four Pack: The Family Four Pack Night offers fans four tickets, four hot dogs, four soft drinks and a choice of parking or a $10 gift certificate to The Zone for just $44.
Post-Game Skate: The second Stouffer's Post-Game Family Fun Skate will take place. Fans who bring their own skates can hit the ice at Van Andel Arena for 45 minutes after the game.
Instant Money: T-Mobile presents "The Instant Money Goal" for each home game during the 2003-04 season. Fans can register on the concourse before each game, and if the Griffins score a goal within the game's first 30 seconds, a name will be drawn to receive an instant $1,000. If the Griffins do not score a goal within the game's first 30 seconds, a randomly selected entry will be selected to win a T-Mobile cellular phone.
