Prior to Saturday's game against the Rush the Bucks will hold a ceremony presenting Jeff Bes with the game puck from his 1,000th career point as well as showing a video tribute on the jumbo tron. Fans are encouraged to arrive to the game early because the ceremony will start at promptly at 7:30pm. Bes picked up the milestone point with an assist in the second period of Laredo's 5-2 win Friday night.
The Bucks look to extend their winning streak to three games Saturday night and improve to 3-0 on their season-high five game home stand. The Bucks defeated the Rush 5-2 Friday night with Addison DeBoer (2-13) and Chris Korchinski (1-23) picking up three points apiece and Torrie Jung stopping 36 of 38 shots.
Laredo will play six of their next seven games on home ice with the only road game in that stretch November 13th at Bossier-Shreveport. During this home stretch five of those home games will be against teams that made the playoffs last season.
Neil Trimm is tied for the CHL lead in points with 14 (4-10-14) and has picked up at least a point in Laredo's first seven games. Serge Dube leads all CHL defensemen in points and also has a seven-game point streak entering Saturday's game (1-1011).
The Rush enter Saturday's game with a 3-4 (six points) record but have gone just 1-4 in their last five games after starting the season 2-0.
Brendon Hodge leads the Rush in scoring with nine points (1-89).
