Waterloo Bucks News Release
The Waterloo Bucks (30-33, 10-17) fell 4-1 to the Thunder Bay Border Cats (21-40, 7-19) on Thursday evening in Ontario. Despite outhitting the Cats' 9-8, Waterloo went 1-10 with runners in scoring position, were caught stealing once and picked off twice.
Waterloo's lone run came in the eighth as Bennett Hostetler (2-4, R, 3B) lead off with a line-drive triple to right-center and scored on a Dylan Phillips (2-4, RBI) bloop single.
Morgan Hostetler (1-3, BB) and Alonzo Rubalcaba (2-4) each reached twice during the evening.
The Bucks and the Border Cats will conclude their series on Friday at 6:35 p.m. CST on the Bucks Radio Network powered by 1650 the Fan.
