The Providence Bruins play two games this weekend, both on home ice, beginning on Friday, March 18 at 7:05 p.m., when they host the Lowell Lock Monsters. The Bruins host the Manchester Monarchs on Sunday, March 20 at 4:05 p.m. Friday's game will be the eighth this season between the Bruins and Lock Monsters. Providence holds a 4-1-0-2 advantage in the season series, and is 32-18-7 all-time against Lowell. The Bruins are in fifth place in the tighly-contested Atlantic Division with their 31-25-3-7 record (72 points), four points behind the Worcester IceCats. Lowell is in third place with its 36-20-1-5 record (78 points).

Scooby Doo, America's favorite crime-solving dog, will be at both games this weekend! Bruin fans are invited to participate in a Meet and Greet with the friendly dog. Scooby Doo will be available beginning one hour before each game, and will remain available throughout each contest.

LOWELL: RW Chuck Kobasew is tied for second in the AHL with 32 goals, ranks 11th with 62 points and leads the league with 10 game-winning goals..C Eric Staal has 19-42-61 totals...Kobasew leads the league with a +34 rating, with Staal and LW Colin Forbes next at +32...Rookie G Cam Ward is 22-11-3, while leading the AHL with a .938 save percentage and ranking third with a 1.93 GAA.
