Bulldogs palyers to be waiters at spaghetti dinner fundraiser

HAMILTON - Hamilton Bulldogs' Tomas Plekanec, Duncan Milroy, Corey Locke, Andrew Archer, James Sanford and Philippe Plante are trading in their jerseys for aprons Monday night when they will be serving up platters of spaghetti and meatballs at a Spaghetti Dinner fundraiser in support of The Children's Aid Society of Hamilton's 2005 Kids in Care Camp Fund. Carmen's Piazza, owned and operated by the Silenzi family, has very generously donated all of the food, service and their facility for this event.

Hamilton, Ontario

The evening will also feature a sing-along led by The Dossers, a local three-piece Celtic/Folk trio. Members of The Ice Girls and the Bulldogs' Bruiser will be on hand to meet with guests.

Tickets for the event are $20 for adults and $15 for children. Everyone who purchases a ticket will receive a complimentary copy of ãDog Day in Hamilton, A Day in the Life of the Hamilton Bulldogs.ä Tickets for the event can be purchased by calling 905-522-1121 ext, 6465.

The Kids in Care Camp Fund enables disadvantaged children in the care of the Society the opportunity to attend a summer camp where they can learn new skills, develop new friendships, experience a different environment and above all, have fun.
