
Bruins renew radio show

Providence, RI -- The Providence Bruins announced today that they have renewed "Providence Bruins Weekly Presented by National City Mortgage" on WSKO AM-790, The Score for the 2004-05 season. This season's first show will be on Tuesday, November 2. The show will air from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and will be hosted by Adam Alper, the team's Manager of Team and Media Services.
"Providence Bruins Weekly Presented by National City Mortgage" will air on 14 different Tuesdays, and one Wednesday during the season. The show will feature regular segments with Bruins head coach Scott Gordon, and Providence Journal beat writer Joe McDonald. Different P-Bruins players will be featured live on each show, as will other special guests.
"National City Mortgage has been an important team sponsor, and has made a significant commitment in presenting the weekly show," said Bruins Co-President Matt Poore. "We are very excited that our fans will once again have the opportunity to gain insight into our team on The Score."
The Bruins continue their four-game road trip when they take on the Norfolk Admirals on Friday, November 5 at 7:30 p.m. They face off with the Hershey Bears on Saturday, November 6 at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, November 7 at 5:00 p.m. All the action will be broadcast live on WDDZ AM-550, and the team website, www.providencebruins.com.
The Bruins return home to host the Hershey Bears on Friday, November 12 at 7:05 p.m. Fans will receive a free Providence Bruins magnet schedule, courtesy of Shaw's Supermarkets.
The Providence Bruins are pleased to offer the new 3-Game Plan. There are four different 3-Game Plans to choose from, each offering three exciting games for just $24.
