
Cassivi leads Ducks past Wolves

ROSEMONT, IL -- Frederic Cassivi made 36 saves to help lead the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks to a 4-1 victory over the Chicago Wolves Saturday at Allstate Arena.
Curtis Glencross, Joffrey Lupul, Stanislav Chistov and Joel Stepp scored for the Ducks, who improved to 3-1-0-0 on the road. Tomas Malec chipped in with a pair of assists.
Cassivi, who spent the past three seasons with Chicago, stopped 10 shots in the first period, 19 shots in the second and seven more in the third en route to his first win of the season (1-1-0).
Karl Stewart scored the lone goal and Kari Lehtonen had 27 saves for Chicago, which snapped a three-game home winning streak against Cincinnati dating to January 11, 2004.
The Ducks play the second game of a four-game road trip Wednesday at Philadelphia.
