
Bronson Arroyo to Appear at Hadlock on Thursday

Portland, Maine- Boston Red Sox pitcher Bronson Arroyo will be appearing at Hadlock Field on Thursday, August 11th. Arroyo will be at Hadlock Field prior to Thursday's Sea Dogs game versus the Norwich Navigators (Giants) to sign copies of his cd "Covering the Bases". The autograph session will run from 5:30-7:00 PM. Arroyo will only be signing autographs of his cd purchased at Hadlock Field that evening.
"Covering The Bases" features Arroyo performing versions of 90's songs from his favorite artists. The album, which was released July 12, 2005 features an All-Star line up of renowned musicians including Mike Inez of Alice In Chains. The album also features special guests Kenny Aronoff, Tim Pierce, Leland Sklar and Mike Landau; Arroyo's Red Sox World Series co-champs Johnny Damon, Kevin Youkilis and Lenny DiNardo; and Red Sox General Manager Theo Epstein on guitar. The highlight of the album is "Dirty Water," the punky '60s tune by the Standells that has become the official theme song of the Red Sox.
Earlier in the day Arroyo will be playing a free concert in Monument Square in Portland, Maine. The concert begins at 12:00 noon and is sponsored by WBLM.
