TONIGHT'S STARTER: RHP BEAR BAY will toe the rubber for the Aeros tonight as they try to even the series after a tough 9-6 loss at Canal Park on Monday. Bear will be making his seventh start for the Aeros since joining the team from Class-A Kinston on July 3rd. With Akron, the 22-year-old is 2-2 with a 4.46 ERA in 36.1 IP (33 H, 18 R, 18 ER, 10 BB, 29 K).

STREAKING SNYDER: OF BRAD SNYDER was 1-for-4 with a double and a run scored in last night's loss to Erie to extend his hitting streak to a season-high 11 games. During the streak, he's batting .396 (19-48) with five doubles, four home runs, 17 RBI, and 11 runs scored. Brad was named the Eastern League Player of the Week for the week ending August 7th. Over those seven games, he batted .419 (13-31) with three doubles, three home runs, 11 RBI, six runs scored, a .471 on-base percentage, and a .806 slugging percentage. The 23-year-old native of Bellevue, Ohio joined the Aeros from Class-A Kinston on June 11th and is hitting .292 (57-195) over 49 games with 16 doubles, two triples, 10 homers, 36 RBI, and 34 runs scored.

IVAN THE GREAT: After struggling offensively and defensively for the first half of the season, SS IVAN OCHOA caught fire in late July and is now one of the Aeros slickest fielders and toughest outs. Since the All-Star break, Ivan is hitting .315 (23-73) with two doubles, two triples, one home run, seven RBI, and six runs scored. He has been especially hot in his seven games in August, batting .458 (11-24) with two doubles, one home run, four RBI, and three runs scored. The 22-year-old Venezuelan, who was hitting .159 through the first month of the season and .227 on July 5th, is now batting .252 (86-341) over 102 games.

WHO'S HOT: RYAN MULHERN

- Batting .409 (27-66) during a 17-game hitting streak with 16 R, 6 2B, 1 3B, 9 HR, and 18 RBI.

- Hitting .312 (97-311) over a combined 86 games with Double-A Akron and Class-A Kinston this season with 58 R, 21 2B, 1 3B, 29 HR, 80 RBI, 35 BB, 95 K, and 3 SB.

- He's tied for fourth in all of Minor League Baseball in HR (29) and is third in SLG (.666).

- Named the Eastern League Player of the Week for the week ending July 31st (.600 OBP, 5 HR, 8 RBI)
