GREENSBORO, NC - The Delmarva Shorebirds, in conjunction with the Baltimore Orioles, have announced the following roster moves:
#25 LHP Brian Gonzalez transferred from Aberdeen (SS) to Delmarva (A)
#15 INF Jack Graham transferred from Delmarva (A) to Aberdeen (SS)
INF Logan Uxa has been reinstated from the Delmarva Disabled List and released from his contract
The roster currently has 25 active players (13 pitchers, 12 position players). Brian Gonzalez is slated to start his ninth game of the season tonight. He is 4-1 with a 2.01 ERA, leading the team with 44.2 innings pitched. Gonzalez last pitched on May 19th at Lakewood, where he earned a win after hurling six scoreless frames with seven strikeouts.
The first pitch of tonight's game is scheduled for 7:00 pm at NewBridge Bank Park against the Greensboro Grasshoppers, Class A Affiliates of the Miami Marlins. The game will be broadcast live on Fox Sports AM 960 and online at theshorebirds.com.
