Brendan Ryan Joins Thunder for MLB Rehab

New York Yankees infielder Brendan Ryan is expected to join the Thunder for a rehabilitation assignment tonight against the Richmond Flying Squirrels at ARM & HAMMER Park at 7:05pm.

Ryan, a seven year Major League veteran, has been sidelined all season with a lower back injury that he sustained in Spring Training. Ryan has a career .237 average with 106 doubles and 19 HR in 783 games with St. Louis (2007-2010), Seattle (2011-2013) and New York (2013). He played in 17 games with New York last season.

The Thunder begin a three-game series against the Richmond tonight at 7:05pm (Thunder bucket hats to the first 1,000 fans ages 12 and over) with games slated for Saturday at 7:05pm (post-game fireworks), and Sunday at 1:05pm (drawstring bags to the first 1,000 kids ages 5-15).
