Brandl's Rights Dealt to Portland

Prince Albert Raiders News Release


The Prince Albert Raiders have traded the WHL playing rights of 20 year-old Max Brandl to the Portland Winter Hawks in exchange for Portland's 8th round pick in the 2010 Bantam Draft.

Brandl was the Raiders' 2nd round selection, 64th overall in the 2007 CHL Import Draft, Last season Brandl, from Landshut, Germany, appeared in 65 games with the Raiders with 16 goals and 17 assists to go along with 60 minutes in penalties as a centre.

This season Brandl remained in Germany playing professionally. Most recently he took part in the Spengler Cup Tournament, with his club team.
