Hershey Bears News Release

HERSHEY – The HERSHEY BEARS announced today in conjunction with the NHL's Colorado Avalanche that left wing Brad Larsen has been re-assigned to HERSHEY.

Larsen has played in five games this season, scoring two goals and assisting on four others for six points overall. He also has played in eight games without a point for the Avalanche. The roster move is the seventh that the BEARS have been involved in little more than 24 hours. HERSHEY assigned David Masse to Reading (ECHL) on Monday while recalling right wing Rob Voltera from Quad City (UHL). In addition, Colorado assigned both center Charlie Stephens and defenseman Brett Clark to the BEARS on Monday, while Tampa Bay called up right wing Shane Willis and assigned center Martin Cibak to Chocolatetown.

The BEARS begin the month of December with the top point total in the AHL, and play three games this week. After hosting Philadelphia at 7:30 on Wednesday, HERSHEY travels to Bridgeport for an early East Division showdown with the Sound Tigers Saturday night. The BEARS return to GIANT Center Sunday for a home game with Syracuse. Face-off Sunday night is at 5:00 p.m. Tickets are available all this week at the GIANT Center box office, or by calling (717) 534-3911.
