BOWIE, Md. - The Bowie Baysox announce a series of roster moves over the last two days. On Monday, June 7, C Phil Britton was transferred to class Single-A Aberdeen. On Tuesday, June 8, RHP Tim Bascom was transferred to class Single-A Aberdeen, C Zach Booker was transferred to Bowie from class Single-A Aberdeen and RHP Josh Perrault was activated from the Disabled List. With the moves, the Baysox maintain a complete 24-man roster.
Britton has appeared in 10 games for the Baysox this season, batting .167 (6-for-36) with three doubles and two RBI.
Bascom started 11 games for Bowie this year, going 3-4 with a 3.43 ERA over 63.0 innings. He walked 10 batters while striking out 41.
Neither Booker nor Perrault have appeared in a game this season. Perrault started 2009 with the Baysox, going 0-2 with a 1.60 ERA and 16 saves in 35 games before a mid-season promotion to class Triple-A Norfolk. He also pitched in 24 games for the Tides, going 1-2 with two saves a 2.53 ERA over 32.0 innings.
