Bourbeau and Clermont Rejoin Jackals

ELMIRA, N.Y. - March 5, 2013 - The Elmira Jackals announced today that goaltender Maxime Clermont and forward Jean Bourbeau have returned to the club from the American Hockey League's Albany Devils and Binghamton Senators, respectively.

Clermont has been reassigned to the Jackals by the National Hockey League's New Jersey Devils from Albany. He appeared in one game for Albany after getting the call up from Elmira on February 28. He stopped 29 of 30 shots in regulation and overtime against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins on March 2. The Penguins scored on three of five shootout attempts to secure the win.

Clermont is 15-10-5 this season with the Jackals with a 3.25 goals-against average and a .901 save percentage. The second-year pro has gone 3-0-2 in his last five starts for the Jackals and has allowed just one goal in three of those outings.

Bourbeau returns to the Jackals after being loaned to Binghamton on February 22. The 29 year old winger dressed in six games for the B-Sens and recorded four penalty minutes. Bourbeau, the Jackals' captain, has produced career highs in goals (17), assists (17), and points (34) through 52 games with Elmira.

Both are expected to make the road trip with the Jackals for games in Wheeling on Wednesday and Trenton on Thursday.
