San Francisco Bulls News Release
SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - The San Francisco Bulls Professional Hockey Team, proud affiliate of the San Jose Sharks, announced today they have acquired forwards Kory Falite (fuh-LEE-TEE) and Ian Schultz (reassigned by the Montreal Canadiens), and defenseman Mark Isherwood from the Utah Grizzlies in exchange for forwards Jordan Clendenning, Sebastien Trudeau and Jonathan Lessard, and defenseman Cody Carlson. The three new acquisitions, along with the newcomers from late February, Tristan King, Bryan Cameron and Yanni Gourde, are expected to make their home debuts on Wednesday, when the Bulls host the Alaska Aces at 7:15 pm at the Cow Palace.
"It's always a tough decision to move players, especially a guy like Jordan, who you care about and has been with you all season long," said President/Head Coach Pat Curcio. "At the end of the day, you have to do what's best for the organization and move forward. We're not just trying to make the playoffs, we're trying to win and this move makes our team better."
Falite, 26, is in his third year of professional hockey. He ranks third among active skaters on Utah with 32 points (11 goals, 21 assists) in 59 games. The Billerica, Massachusetts, native won a Kelly Cup with the Alaska Aces in his rookie season in 2010-11. Over three ECHL seasons, Falite has totaled 105 points (37 goals, 68 assists) in 174 games. Prior to turning pro, he spent four seasons playing college hockey at UMass-Lowell, where he was twice the team's leading scorer.
Schultz, 23, was a third-round draft pick of the St. Louis Blues in 2008 and is currently under contract with the Montreal Canadiens. He has recorded 15 points (7 goals, 8 assists) and 139 penalty minutes in 27 games with Utah this season. The Calgary, Alberta, native has also appeared in two games with the Hamilton Bulldogs of the American Hockey League. Schultz has totaled 27 points in 107 AHL games with Hamilton over the past three seasons. He also captained the Calgary Hitmen of the Western Hockey League to a league title in 2009-10.
Isherwood, 24, returned to North America this season after a year in Italy with Cortina. He ranks first among Utah defensemen with 22 points (5 goals, 17 assists) in 37 games. The Abbotsford, British Columbia, native played alongside Falite in Alaska in 2010-11 and captured the Kelly Cup. He was also named to the ECHL All-Rookie Team in 2010-11 with 35 points in 70 games. He played his amateur career with the Medicine Hat Tigers of the WHL, where he three times led the team's defense in scoring.
Clendenning recorded 19 points in 56 games with the Bulls this season. Lessard, produced five points in 23 games with the Bulls. Carlson combined for 20 points in 40 games between the Bulls and Gwinnett Gladiators. Trudeau totaled five points in 20 games with the Bulls and 26 points in the Central Hockey League with the Bloomington Blaze. All three players sent to Utah are in their first years of professional hockey.

The first 1,000 fans, 13 and over, receive a reusable grocery bag on Friday and on Saturday the first 500 fans, 13 and over, receive a traveler's cup, courtesy of BART.
