
Bloodoff Assigned from AHL Portland

Forward Evan Bloodoff has been re-assigned to the Gwinnett Gladiators from the Portland Pirates of the American Hockey League by the Phoenix Coyotes of the National Hockey League.
After being called-up on March 3rd, Bloodoff appeared in one game for the Pirates. He finished with a +1 rating and two shots on goal in a 7-1 Pirates loss that same day in Providence.
The 5-foot-11, 205-pound forward did not register a point in seven games while with the Pirates from January 7th through February 13th. He began the season in the AHL and skated in one game with Portland before he was assigned to Gwinnett on October 22nd.
Bloodoff, 22, has earned 35 points (18 goals, 11 assists) in 42 games with Gwinnett this season. The Nelson, BC native also has notched six multiple point games with the Gladiators this season. He holds the Gladiators high for most consecutive games with a goal for the 2012-13 campaign as he scored in five consecutive games from February 19th through March 1st.
Bloodoff played in 48 games with the Portland Pirates in the 2011-12 season and collected eight points (six goals, two assists). Before his time with the Pirates, he skated in five seasons with the Kelowna Rockets of the Western Hockey League from 2006-2010. He was selected in the 2009 NHL Draft in the 6th round with the 157th overall pick by the Phoenix Coyotes.
The Gladiators are the ECHL Affiliate of the Phoenix Coyotes of the National Hockey League and are members of the ECHL, the Premier "AA" Hockey League and play all home games at the 11,355-seat Arena at Gwinnett Center, located just off I-85 on Sugarloaf Parkway in Duluth.
