
Bonni and Neiszner return to Wranglers

Las Vegas, NV- The Las Vegas Wranglers announced today that the Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights of the American Hockey League have reassigned defenseman Ryan Bonni and center Chris Neiszner. The Wranglers play in Phoenix tonight at the U.S. Airways Arena at 6:11 pm (PST).
Neiszner returns to the Wranglers after a scoreless two-game stint with the Knights. Prior to his recall, the second-year pro played in 46 games for Las Vegas, scoring a career-high 15 goals and dishing out 12 assists for 27 points. The 6-foot, 200-pound center had eight points in his last nine games played with the Wranglers and six points in his last four games. In 113 career games, Neiszner has 27 goals and 33 assists for 60 points. 104 of the games have been with Las Vegas over the last two seasons, Neiszner has 26 goals and 32 assists for 58 points. Neiszner spent training camp in Calgary and Omaha the past two pre-seasons.
In 16 games with the Knights, Bonni was held scoreless with 19 penalty minutes. With the Wranglers this season, Bonni has scored twice and added 25 assists for 27 points in 31 games played. The six-foot-four defenseman was the second round draft choice (#34 overall) of the Vancouver Canucks in the 1997 NHL entry draft. Bonni appeared in three games with the Canucks during the 1999-2000 NHL season. During his career in the ECHL, Bonni has amassed six goals and 48 assists for 54 points in 94 games played.
After a game in Phoenix tonight, the Wranglers will host the RoadRunners at 7:05 pm on Friday, March 2nd and Saturday, March 3rd. The first 2,000 fans to the game on Friday, March 2nd receive a Wranglers Pint Glass, compliments of Integrity Jeep Chrysler Dodge. On Saturday, fans may attend the Port of Subs Pre-Game Party from 4:30 - 6:30 pm in the concourse of the Orleans Arena.
