Rob LaLonde and Lee Green Returned To Reading

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League and the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League, today announced that defensemen Rob LaLonde and Lee Green have been returned to the Royals from the Binghamton Senators of the AHL. LaLonde (6'4"/210 lbs.) (24), a first year pro from Williamsville, New York, played two games this week for the Senators after being loaned to Binghamton on Sunday, February 25. Green (6'1"/210 lbs.) (25), a second year pro from Soldotna, Alaska, was loaned to the Senators yesterday and played in Binghamton's 3-2 loss last night to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins. In a separate transaction, the Royals have signed emergency back-up goaltender Chris Cuppett.

The Royals return to action on Friday night (7:05 pm) at the Sovereign Center against the Johnstown Chiefs, when Athletic Trainer Brian Grogesky will become the third person in team history inducted into the Reading Eagle Wall of Honor. The first 2000 fans that night will receive a Brian Grogesky trading card courtesy of the Reading Eagle. Royals' game night broadcasts can be heard live on ESPN Radio 1240 am (and on the internet through the Royals' website, www.royalshockey.com), beginning thirty minutes before the opening face-off. Streaming video is also available for $6.00 per game through the B2 Networks, which can be accessed through the Royals' website.
