Wheeling Nailers News Release

Wheeling, WV- The Wheeling Nailers, the 'AA' affiliate of the Pittsburgh Penguins, announce today that the Providence Bruins have assigned forward Ned Havern to the Nailers.

Havern, a native of Arlington, MA, played seven games with the Boston Bruins' AHL affiliate but did not record a point.

In 15 games with Wheeling this year, Havern has eight goals and seven assists for a point-per-game average.

He is expected to be in the lineup tonight when the Nailers travel to Toledo to take on the Storm before returning home for a three game home stand.

The Bombers fly into WeBanco Arena on Friday for a 7:30 start. It's the third and final Collector's Puck Giveaway. The first 2500 fans will receive the puck to complete their collections.

Riding into Wheeling on Saturday are the Chiefs for a 7:30 game. It's Faith and Family Night at WesBanco Arena. Fans are encouraged to stick around after the game for a concert with the band, New Method.

And the Nailers will look to dethrone the Reading Royals on Sunday at 6 p.m. Bring the family out for Sunday Family Fun Day and enjoy Mascot Mania. As always, skate with the team after the game. Tickets for Sunday's game are just $8 with a ticket stub from Friday or Saturday.

Tickets are available now by calling 304-234-GOAL, by visiting the Nailers team store located at 1315 Main St. in downtown Wheeling or online at www.Wheelingnailers.com.
