
Bombers Drop 4-2 Decision To Bullies Who Win Fifth Straight

Dayton, OH â The Dayton Bombers lost a 4-2 decision to the Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies in front of 1,723 at the Nutter Center Tuesday night.
After a scoreless first period, the Bullies opened a 2-0 lead in the second period with goals from Jason Notermann at 1:30 and Dan Peters at 15:59.
Derek Edwardson gave Atlantic City a 3-0 lead 1:20 seconds into the third period before the Bombers rally started. SCOTT CAMERON tipped a slapshot from Alex Johnstone past Bullies goaltender Jake Moreland at 4:15. Then, 1:52 seconds later, TYLER SCOTT scored his first goal for the Bombers pulling Dayton within one, 3-2. Just 42 seconds after Scott's goal, Jason Notermann scored his second goal of the night and the Bullies held on for the 4-2 victory.
The Bombers beat Atlantic City in their first meeting this season, but the Bullies have won the last four in this season series. AC has now won 5-straight games and sits alone on top of the North Division.
The Bombers return to action Friday night when they host the Toledo Storm on Scout Night at 7:00 PM. The "Coaches Corner Pre-Game Show" starts at 6:50 PM on SportsOne, WONE-AM 980 and at daytonbombers.com
