Bob Dylan Concert Scheduled For Memorial Stadium

Fort Wayne, IN - Memorial Stadium, home of the Fort Wayne Wizards, will play host to one of Bob Dylan's stops this summer during his third annual tour of minor league ballparks.

The event will take place on Tuesday, September 5, with the concert starting at 6:30 p.m. and gates opening at 5:30 p.m.

Tickets, which go on sale at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 22 are $49.50 each and kids 12 and under get in free with each adult ticket holder.

All tickets for the Bob Dylan Show will be available through Ticket Master or the Memorial Coliseum. The Fort Wayne Wizards will not be taking ticket orders for the event.

"We are excited to have a legend playing at Memorial Stadium," Wizards general manager Mike Nutter said. "We have hosted many concerts during the past six seasons and this will be a great venue. The Wizards organization is pleased to be a part of this year's tour."

Bob Dylan has won many awards during his career, including Grammy Awards, an Academy Award, a Golden Globe and a Kennedy Center honor. Bob Dylan will be releasing a new album, Modern Times, through Columbia Records on August 29.

In addition to Bob Dylan, electric guitarist Jimmie Vaughn and Junior Brown will also be performing, along with the opening act of Elana James and The Continental Two.
