Boardwalk Bullies Rookie Galbraith Named InGlasCo ECHL Player of the Week

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. – Today the East Coast Hockey League announced that Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies rookie Jade Galbraith was named the InGlasCo East Coast Hockey League Player of the Week for the week of January 13 –19.

The 20-year old forward earned six points (1G, 5A) and was a +3 in two games last week. Galbraith tallied two assists in Atlantic City's 5-2 win against Cincinnati, on Wednesday, Jan. 15, and scored a power-play goal and added three assists in a come-from-behind 4-3 win against the Trenton Titans to capture the Garden State Cup on Saturday, Jan. 18. The Hinton, Alberta, native is tied for second in scoring among rookies with 43 points (15G,28A), second among rookies in assists with 28 and is tied for fifth among rookies in goals with 15. Currently, Galbraith is second on the Bullies in points and assists and power-play goals (7). Netminder Scott Stirling earned runner-up honors for ECHL Goalie of the Week after stopping all 26 Titans shots he faced in relief of teammate Matt Yeats on Saturday.
