Van Hoof Called Up to Springfield

Pensacola, Fla. - Pensacola Ice Pilots Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Todd Gordon announced that defenseman Jeremy Van Hoof has been called up to the Springfield Falcons on the American Hockey League.

Van Hoof has played in all 42 games for the Ice Pilots this season scoring 4 goals, 4 assists for 8 points and have picked up 31 penalty minutes. He leads all defenseman in the ECHL with a +25 plus/minus rating and all of his four goals this season have been game winning goals.

The Ice Pilots will play home to the Jackson Bandits tomorrow night at 7:05 p.m. It is a Papa Johns Family Night. A family of four can purchase 4 tickets, 4 sodas, 4 pizza slices and one game program for $44. It must be purchased through the Ice Pilots office. After the game, the entire team will be signing autographs.

The Ice Pilots will play home to the Louisiana IceGators on Saturday night at 7:05 p.m. The first 5,000 fans will receive cheerstix sponsored by Hill Kelly Dodge and Geico Direct Insurance.
