KANNAPOLIS, NC - The BlueClaws scored twice in the ninth, taking the lead on an RBI single by Herlis Rodriguez, and they topped Kannapolis 9-7 on Saturday night at CMC Northeast Stadium.

The BlueClaws led the game 7-4 before Michael Suiter tied the score with a three-run home run off Scott Harris on the bottom of the 8th. Lakewood extended their lead with a run in the 6th inning when Damek Tomscha doubled and scored on a wild pitch. They added another in the 8th on an RBI single by Tocci to put the BlueClaws up 7-4.
