
BlueClaws Unveil 2016 Schedule

LAKEWOOD, NJ - The 2015 season might be winding down but the BlueClaws are already gearing up for 2016. The team released their 2016 schedule on Monday, with Opening Day at FirstEnergy Park on Thursday, April 14th after the team spends the first week of the season on the road.

The BlueClaws will open the 2016 season in Lexington (Royals) on April 7th with the home opener coming on Thursday, April 14th against Greensboro (Marlins).
The schedule features 11 Friday and Saturday games. The BlueClaws will be home on Father's Day (Sunday, June 19th). The Independance Day celebration will take place at the game on Sunday, July 3rd. The season concludes with a seven-game homesand that runs through Labor Day (September 5th).
"The 2015 season has already been a special one, and we're not done yet," said Chris Tafrow, BlueClaws Executive Vice President. "Still, it's always exciting to release our next schedule. We're already preparing to make 2016 as Clawsome as can be!"
The BlueClaws will welcome in affiliates of both the Yankees (Charleston from April 26th - 28th) and Red Sox (Greenville from April 29th - May 2nd) early in the 2016 season. Nine different teams will come to Lakewood and the BlueClaws will play 10 of the other 13 teams in the South Atlantic League.
2016 BlueClaws ticket packages are currently on sale with packages starting at just seven games. Season Ticket (70 games) and Half-Season Ticket (35 games) are available with new 12-month payment plans (season tickets start at as little as $47 per month). Each fan that books their 2016 ticket package by September 7th will receive a complimentary Upstairs Club pass for each game.

Game times for all 2016 games will be released at a later date.
The BlueClaws are the Jersey Shore's top stop for affordable, family entertainment. They have led the South Atlantic League in attendance in all 14 years of existence.
