Blue Jays Trade Bisons' RHP Miguel Castro in Deal for Tulowitzki, Hawkins

The Toronto Blue Jays today acquired SS Troy Tulowitzki and RHP LaTroy Hawkins in a six-player deal with the Colorado Rockies. The deal included Toronto sending now-former Bisons RHP MIGUEL CASTRO to the Rockies.

INF JOSE REYES was also sent to the Rockies. Reyes played for the Bisons in both 2013 and 2015 as part of injury rehab assignments.

Castro, 20, has made 13 appearances (five starts) with the Bisons this season after being optioned down from Toronto on May 4. The righty was 1-3 with a 4.58 ERA with 21 strikeouts in only 19.2 innings of work. In his last six outings, all in relief, Castro allowed just one run on seven hits in 6.0 innings of work (four strikeouts).
