Indianapolis Indians News Release

Columbus, Ohio -- The Indianapolis Indians (58-46) battled back from a 3-1 deficit with a pair of runs in the top of the seventh, but Tyler Holt singled home the go-ahead run in the bottom of the eighth to send the Columbus Clippers (59-45) to a 4-3 victory and sole possession of first place in the International League West division.

The loss means Indianapolis will not have at least a share of first place for the first time since May 20. The Indians seventh inning rally included Willy Garcia's second home run with the Tribe, and a triple by Alen Hanson that drove home Gorkys Hernandez.

Tuesday was just game two of a big four-game set between the Indians and Clippers, and the Indians have a chance to leave town with a split.
