OKLAHOMA CITY - The Oklahoma City Blue (4-10) lost to the Iowa Wolves (7-8), 107-105, on Tuesday night.

With 11.9 seconds left in the game, Thunder assignment player Justin Patton scored an alley-oop layup on an inbounds pass from Abdul Gaddy, cutting the Wolves lead to one point at 106-105. Iowa's Barry Brown split free throws on the other end, but the Blue turned over the ball on the ensuing possession and Iowa dribbled out the remainder of the game.

Patton tallied seven points, a game-high-tying 12 rebounds and two assists in the game, while Gaddy contributed 11 points, a game-high eight assists and four rebounds. The Blue outrebounded the Wolves, 48-43, and dished 21 assists to Iowa's 16.

Oklahoma City trailed by 14 points to open the fourth quarter but managed to hold Iowa to just two points for the first half of the frame, and just 16 points in the quarter. The 16 points ties the mark for fewest points scored in a quarter by any Blue opponent this season.

The teams went back and forth over the opening minutes of the contest, but Iowa would go on a 16-6 run midway through the first quarter to take a 10-point lead. A free throw from Kadeem Jack and a pull-up three from Sedrick Barefield cut the Blue's deficit to 28-23 heading into the second quarter.

Jack scored 16 points on 4-of-6 shooting and Barefield tallied 10 points off the bench, as Oklahoma City's reserves outscored Iowa's 50-39.

A free throw from Thunder assignment player Deonte Burton early in the second quarter would trim Iowa's lead to two points, but the Wolves would go on a 19-6 run in the quarter to take back control of the game.

Burton grabbed seven rebounds to go along with six points and two blocks, while two-way player Kevin Hervey recorded seven points, eight rebounds and five assists.

Timberwolves assignment player Naz Reid led Iowa with a 23-point, 12-rebound double-double.

Oklahoma City will travel to Las Vegas for the 2019 NBA G League Showcase where it will face the Erie BayHawks on Friday, Dec. 20 at 2:30 p.m. CST.
