WHO WILL HIT JACKPOT?
In the 2019 MGM Resorts NBA G League Winter Showcase, the top four teams (based on regular-season record through their first 12 games) have been placed into the Championship Bracket to compete for a $100,000 prize. The top four teams are the Memphis Hustle (1), Wisconsin Herd (2), Salt Lake City Stars (3) and Grand Rapids Drive (4). The Championship Game will be played on Sunday, Dec. 22 at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN2.
WINNING IN WISCONSIN:
On Monday, Dec. 16, the Wisconsin Herd's 12-game winning streak ended with a 125-124 loss to the Fort Wayne Mad Ants. The team's NBA parent club, the Milwaukee Bucks, had its 18-game winning streak snapped on the same day, which meant that the organization had gone 38 calendar days without sustaining a loss in a professional basketball game.
