
Blazers Rally For Point In Tri-City

Dalibor Bortnak and Tyler Shattock scored third period goals to bring the Blazers back from 4-2 down en route to a 5-4 shootout loss in Tri-Cities on Friday night.
The Ams led 2-0 after one then 3-0 early in the second before Giffen Nyren and Jake Trask scored powerplay goals to cut the lead to 3-2. The Ams then scored late in the second for a 4-2 lead after 40 minutes. Mitch Fadden scored the lone goal in the shootout to give the Ams the extra point.
Final shots were 23-22 Blazers - 19-8 Kamloops in the final 45 minutes. Justin Leclerc takes the shootout loss while Chet Pickard gets the win. The Blazers were 3-for-7 on the PP and a perfect 7-for-7 on the PK.
