PRINCE GEORGE BC - The Vancouver Giants continue to roll along in the WHL season. This time, a 5-2 victory over the Prince George Cougars to complete a two game road sweep over their BC Division Rivals.

The Giants had goals from James Henry, Andrej Kudrna, Garry Nunn, James Wright and Evander Kane. Jamie Tucker turned aside 30 of 32 shots in the victory. Evander Kane continues his WHL point scoring streak. With one goal and one assist tonight, the Vancouver forward has scored in all 17 games played by the Giants this season and has 32 points (13G-19A) during the streak.

The Giants have now tied their best ever start by going 17 games to start the season without a regulation defeat. Back in the 2006-07 season, the Giants started out 16-0-1-0 to begin the season before losing Game 18 in Red Deer.

The Giants will carry on against their BC Division opponents...next up will be the Chilliwack Bruins in a Remembrance Day battle in the Fraser Valley. Pre game show on CISL 650 will be at 1:30, with the puck drop at Prospera Place in Chilliwack being at 2 p.m.
