
Blazers Acquire Draft Pick for Forward Vaughn Watterodt

Kamloops, BC - The Kamloops Blazers announced today that the hockey club has traded 17-year-old forward Vaughn Watterodt and an 8th round pick in the 2021 WHL Prospects Draft to the Saskatoon Blades in exchange for a 5th round pick in the 2024 WHL Prospects Draft.
Watterodt suited up in 18 games with the Blazers over the past two seasons and had two assists. The Rosetown, SK native was originally a sixth round pick by the Blazers in the 2019 WHL Prospects Draft.
The Blazers roster now stands at 22 players including 13 forwards, seven defensemen and two goaltenders.
