Winnipeg, MB - Today the Winnipeg ICE announced the signing of defensemen Josh Mettimano to a WHL standard player agreement.
Mettimano, 16, from Cochrane, Alberta, was selected by the ICE in the eighth round, 156th overall in the 2019 WHL Prospects Draft.
The 6'0, 185 pound blue liner has played 18 games with The RINK Hockey Academy U18 team in the Canadian Sport School Hockey League this season registering four goals and 12 assists for 16 points and eight penalty minutes.
