
Blades Win Fourth Straight With 2-1 Win Over Giants

HOMEBOUND: The Saskatoon Blades bring eight of a possible ten points home from their BC road trip with a 2-1 victory vs the Vancouver Giants Saturday at the Langley Events Centre. It's the club's fourth consecutive win tying them with the Red Deer Rebels at 78 points for second place in the Eastern Conference.
STONE COLD ELLIOTT: Rookie goalie Austin Elliott saw his record climb to 20-5-2-0 stopping 19 of 20 shots. It's also the Strathmore, AB. product's fifth straight win.
WIENER OF OLD: Forward Jayden Wiens recorded his fifth point in as many games since returning at the start of the trip vs the Kamloops Blazers. The Carrot River, SK. native notched his 12th of the season with a powerplay marker, giving him 18 points in 28 games.
NEXT GAME: The Blades are off until Friday when they welcome the Prince Albert Raiders to SaskTel Centre for their Building Relationships Night sponsored by Mental Health and Wellness out of Beardy's Okemasis Cree Nation.
