Blades lose Plante to AHL; Trade Kronick

ESTERO, FL - Florida Everblades President & General Manager Craig Brush, along with Head Coach Gerry Fleming announced today goaltender Tyler Plante has been re-called by the Florida Panthers and assigned to the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League.

Plante makes his second trip to the Americans this season after playing in one game with Rochester on October 20. With the Everblades this season the 20-year-old rookie net-minder has seen action in 10 games and has compiled a record of 4-5-1, with a goals against average of 2.81 and a .921 save percentage. Plante's first win as a pro came on Nov. 3 at Alaska in a 2-0 Florida victory.

In a separate move, the Everblades also traded forward Dan Kronick to the Elmira Jackals. The trade completes the previous deals between the teams that brought forward Joe Guenther to the Everblades on November 23. Kronick had one assists in 13 games with the Everblades this season.
