Jackals And Everblades Complete Trade

The Elmira Jackals, proud member of the ECHL, announced today that forward Dan Kronick has been acquired by the club from the Florida Everblades, completing a trade between the teams from November 23rd that sent forward Joe Guenther to the Everblades.

Kronick, 23, is in his rookie season after completing his college career with St. Cloud State of the Western Collegiate Hockey Association in March. The 6'4" 215-pound native of Inner Grove Heights, MN, enjoyed his most productive college season in his senior year with the Huskies, scoring 14 goals and posting 26 points in 40 games overall.

In 2005-06, Kronich netted 11 goals and 23 points after sitting out one season following his transfer to St. Cloud from Minnesota-Duluth after appearing in just 15 games in two seasons with the Bulldogs. In 13 games this season with Florida, Kronick had one assist.

Winners of four straight games and leaders of the North Division, the Jackals are off until this weekend when they travel to Wheeling for games Friday and Saturday against the Nailers. Face-off both nights is set for 7:35 p.m. at WesBanco Arena in Wheeling. The road trip begins a stretch that sees Elmira on the road for eight of their next nine games over the holidays and into January 2008. All Jackals games can be heard live on MAGIC FM (927/97.7) and on-line at www.jackalshockey.com beginning thirty minutes prior to game time with the Hill Top Inn Countdown to Face-Off.
