
Imbeault Named To All-Star Team

Johnstown, PA - The Johnstown Chiefs announced today that leading scorer Alexandre Imbeault has been named to the American Conferece team for the 2008 Chase ECHL All Star Game, that will be held on January 23 in Stockton, CA.
Imbeault, 21, a rookie center, leads the Chiefs in scoring with 9 goals and 22 points in 25 games. The 6'0, 180 LBS native of Montreal, Quebec played last season in the QMJHL with the Chicoutimi Sagueneens where he had 27 goals and 57 points in just 39 games.
Hosted by the Stockton Thunder and the City of Stockton at Stockton Arena, the 2008 Chase Chevrolet ECHL All-Star Game presented by Jackson Rancheria and Bud Light will be played on Jan. 23 with the 11th edition of the Chase Chevrolet ECHL All-Star Game Skills Competition being held on Jan. 22.
There are 13 rookies on the American Conference and only two of the 21 players have played in an ECHL All-Star Game.
The Chiefs have two games prior to the Christmas Break as they host the Cincinnati Cyclones Friday and Saturday night at 7:00 p.m.
Friday night is PA Lottery FREE scratch ticket night as the first 1,500 people ages 18 and over through the gate will receive a free scratch ticket from the PA Lottery.
Saturday night, aggressive hockey is back in town as Johnstown's most famous goon line, the Hanson Brothers will be attendance signing autographs and taking pictures with fans.
