Stockton Thunder News Release
STOCKTON, Calif. - The Stockton Thunder, the ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's Edmonton Oilers and American Hockey League's Springfield Falcons, has announced special "Winter Thunderland" themed third jerseys will be worn by the Thunder for Friday's game against the Bakersfield Condors and Saturday's game against the Phoenix RoadRunners at Stockton Arena. A "Jersey Off Our Back" auction, presented by Comcast and 104.1 The Hawk, following Saturday's game.
The jersey, which will feature the recognizable Thunder "Thor" mascot logo accentuated with a Santa Claus hat and sack of presents across the front, will include red-colored thunder bolts adorning the side of a white jersey and black numbers trimmed in white and red.
Fans will have the opportunity to take home a player's game-worn jersey in a live auction following Saturday's game. All proceeds of the auction will benefit the Stockton Thunder and Lightning Foundation. A random drawing for a select jersey will also be held during Saturday's game, open to all fans in attendance.
Additionally, fans in attendance are eligible to participate in Friday and Saturday's "Holiday Ornament Silent Auction," where hand-decorated Holiday Ornaments by Thunder players will be auctioned off for charity, with proceeds benefiting the Women's Center of San Joaquin County.
