Florida Everblades News Release

ESTERO, FL - The Florida Everblades (7-9-0) picked up a 1-0 victory over the Las Vegas Wranglers (8-6-1) on Saturday night at Germain Arena. The win snapped a two-game losing streak for Florida, as well as stopping the Wranglers four-game winning streak.

'Blades goaltender Craig Kowalski earned his first professional shutout by stopping all 22 Las Vegas shots he faced. Florida's lone goal came 54 seconds into the game when Brandon Coalter picked up a rebound off Wranglers goalie Sebastien Centomo and deposited the puck into the back of the net for this first goal of the season.

The game saw just two minor penalties called, both against Las Vegas. The zero penalty minutes against Florida was an all-time franchise record for fewest penalty minutes in a game.

Kowalski saw his record climb to 4-4-0 with the shutout, while Centomo's record fell to 5-3-0 with the tough-luck loss. Centomo stopped 27 of 28 Florida shots. Florida finished the night 0-for-2 on the power play, while the Wranglers did not have a power play opportunity.

Florida closes out their six-game home stand when they take on the Las Vegas Wranglers on Tuesday, November 30 at 7:30 p.m. You can hear all of the Everblades action on SportsRadio 770 AM or via internet by visiting www.floridaeverblades.com, www.abc-7.com, and www.nbc-2.com with the "Voice of the Everblades" Kevin Reiter calling the play-by-play.
