Blades Win: The Saskatoon Blades defeated the Medicine Hat Tigers 4-3 in overtime Friday night. The team went back in time as they sported their iconic bridge logo throwbacks for Heritage Night.

SAVES AND STARS: Ethan Chadwick earned his 7th win of the season. Egor Sidorov sealed the deal in the extra frame with his 9th goal in 8 games this season. He now has 18 points in just 8 games. Toronto Maple Leafs draft pick Brandon Lisowsky had a goal and an assist and Trevor Wong extended his point streak with an assist on Lisowsky's goal. Wong now has 12 points in his last 6 games.

NEXT GAME: Next weekend will be the battle of the beasts as the #1 ranked team in the CHL Winnipeg ICE are in Saskatoon for a doubleheader. The ICE are 19-1 this season with NHL draft picks Matthew Savoie and Connor Geekie leading the way. This will be a measuring stick weekend as the Blades (15-4-0-0) meet the ICE for the first time this season. Friday night at 7:00pm is the first of the double header while Saturday will be the Blades PRIDE night. The team will have special jerseys to honour the occasion.
