Blades announce change in first round playoff schedule

ESTERO, FL - The Florida Everblades announced today a change in their first round playoff schedule with the Columbia Inferno. The two teams agreed today to move Game 5 (If Necessary) from Wednesday, April 16 to Tuesday, April 15 at 7:30 p.m. from Germain Arena.

The following is the updated playoff schedule for round one:

GAME 1 - Wednesday, April 9 - Columbia at Florida, 7:30 p.m. @ Germain Arena (Ticket GAME "A")

GAME 2 - Friday, April 11 - Columbia at Florida, 7:30 p.m. @ Germain Arena (Ticket GAME "B")

GAME 3 - Saturday, April 12 - Florida at Columbia, 7:05 p.m.

GAME 4* - Monday, April 14 - Florida at Columbia, 7:05 p.m.

GAME 5* - Tuesday, April 15 - Columbia at Florida, 7:30 p.m. @ Germain Arena

* - If Necessary

During the regular season the Everblades finished with a record of 4-3-1 vs. Columbia. At home, the Everblades were 3-1-0 vs. the Inferno, and on the road Florida finished with a 1-2-1 mark. Overall, the Everblades outscored Columbia 26-21 in the eight-game season series. The playoff meeting will be the first ever between the clubs.
