Adams Returns in Time for Game 1 Tonight

Beaumont, TX-Texas Wildcatters Head Coach and Vice President of Hockey Operations Malcolm Cameron today announced that defenseman John Adams has been returned on loan from the Houston Aeros of the American Hockey League.

Adams is expected to skate tonight against the Mississippi Sea Wolves in Game 1 of the South Division Quarterfinals at Ford Arena.

Adams, 25, was recalled to Houston on March 17 after playing 62 games with the Wildcatters during the regular season and posting 8 goals and 16 assists. His plus-34 rating leads the Wildcatters and ranked third in the ECHL for the regular season.

Adams' return leaves fellow blueliner Jonathan Paiement (Hershey) and forward Ross Carlson (Houston) as the only two players on the Wildcatters' playoff roster currently under AHL recall.

The Wildcatters and Sea Wolves drop the puck tonight at 7:05 in Ford Arena. The series continues Thursday with Game 2 at 7:05.
