Today's Game

This afternoon, the Bisons take on the Pawtucket Red Sox in the final two games of a three-game series from Coca-Cola Field (1:05 p.m.). It took two nights, but the teams completed the first game of the series with Pawtucket winning 9-6 in a game that was suspended in the 4th inning on Monday. Tomorrow, the Bisons welcome the IronPigs to town for a four-game series.

vs. the Red Sox

The PawSox now hold the all-time series advantage over Buffalo, 147-146. The Bisons have not won a season series against Pawtucket since going 10-6 against the PawSox in 2008. Last season, Pawtucket won seven of the last nine contests for the 10-6 series win.

Game 1 -Jeff Francis

LHP JEFF FRANCIS will make his Bisons' debut in today's first game. The southpaw was 4-3 with a 3.33 ERA in eight starts for Louisville last season while also seeing big league time with the Reds, A's and Yankees. Francis allowed four runs in 5.1 innings of a no-decision against the PawSox last year, May 10 in Louisville.

Game 2 -Andrew Albers

LHP ANDREW ALBERS starts game two for the Herd today. The southpaw fell in defeat in his Bisons debut last Thursday, allowing four runs in 4.2 innings to the Red Wings on Opening Day. Albers was 11-5 with a 2.86 ERA in 22 starts for Rochester in 2013 -his last season in the International League.

Chris Dickerson

OF CHRIS DICKERSON has an RBI-single in three of the Herd's first four games of the season. The veteran is hitting .286 with a .474 on-base percentage thus far. His five walks on the year are tied with 11 others, including OF CALEB GINDL, for most in the IL.

Ryan Goins

INF RYAN GOINS is the lone Bisons player to have a hit in each of the four games this season. Goins is hitting .333 (5-15) with a double, an RBI and a run scored. The infielder hit .284 in 97 games for the Bisons last season, finishing 2nd on the club in hits (103) and doubles (21).

Bisons Bits

The Bisons are one of three International League teams without a home run this season...INF MATT HAGUE had a double and a triple yesterday and now has 10 extra-base hits in only 17 games as a Bison.

Blue Jays Update

The Blue Jays (4-4) lost to Tampa Bay last night by a 3-2 score. Former Bisons OF Kevin Pillar had two more hits and an RBI and is now hitting .290 on the young season. LHP Daniel Norris allowed two runs on three hits in five innings in a no-decision. Blue Jays host the Rays tonight at 7:07 p.m.
